Since the inception of the Baltoro Social Welfare Foundation (BSW) in 2011, one name has remained constant in our journey of transformation: Les Enfants du K2. This French association, led by the visionary Pierre Neyret, has been more than just a donor; they have been the lifeblood of our mission to educate the children of the remote Braldo Valley.

The Man Behind the Vision: Pierre Neyret

Pierre Neyret, a renowned French high-mountain guide and philanthropist, combined his love for the Karakoram peaks with a deep commitment to its people. Recognizing the barriers to education in Northern Pakistan, Pierre co-founded Les Enfants du K2 to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity.

Under his leadership, the association has consistently provided the financial and moral support necessary to maintain the BSW hostel, ensuring that students from the highest reaches of Baltistan have a safe place to live and learn in Skardu.
