Providing safe accommodation, quality education, and life-changing opportunities to students from the remote Braldo Valley since 2011.
Transforming Lives Through Education in the Heart of K2 Country
The Baltoro Social Welfare Foundation (formerly Upper Braldo Hostel) was established in March 2011 with support from the French NGO Les Enfants du K2. We provide safe, supervised accommodation and comprehensive academic support to deserving students from the nine villages of Braldo Valley in Skardu, Baltistan.
Our hostel transforms rural students' access to education and life opportunities, supporting them from basic schooling through 12th grade (FSc/FA), enabling them to pursue higher education and become self-reliant professionals.
